Experience behind the software

Built by a working card-restoration and grading-prep team

CardRevive's main site reports more than 30,000 cards repaired and 22,000 cards graded. Those operational figures were checked on 13 July 2026; they describe the wider CardRevive service, not this grader's prediction accuracy.

How It Works

1

Scan Your Card

Use a flatbed scanner at 600+ DPI for the strongest evidence. A careful phone photo can still be useful.

Quick capture check

  1. Flatbed scanner · Preferred evidence. Flat and unsleeved.

  2. Good phone photo · Useful with care. Lens parallel to the card.

  3. Poor capture · Recapture required. Sleeve glare and uneven lighting.

Illustrative pre-grading estimate; not an official grade. Clear images improve visible evidence but do not guarantee detection, authentication, value, or a grading-house result.

Frequently Asked Questions

How accurate is AI card grading?+

CardRevive grades centering, corners, edges, and surface from your scans and returns PSA, BGS, and TAG estimates to help you plan before you submit. It does not claim a universal accuracy percentage: this is a pre-grading screen, not a guaranteed result, and clean high-resolution scans provide better evidence than unclear photos.

How does it compare to PSA, BGS, and TAG grading?+

PSA, BGS, and TAG are the official companies that authenticate and slab your card. CardRevive is not affiliated with them and does not issue official grades. We estimate what each company is likely to assign so you can decide whether a card is worth the submission fee and the wait.

What photos or scans work best?+

A flatbed scanner at 600 DPI or higher gives the strongest evidence. If you use a phone, shoot straight on in bright, even light with no glare, fill the frame with the card, and capture both the front and the back. Take the card out of any sleeve or toploader first, because they add reflections.

What does centering mean?+

Centering measures how evenly the border or design sits inside the card edges, both left to right and top to bottom. It is one of the biggest factors in a grade. Your report shows the measured ratios and flags when centering is the limiter holding a card back.

Is this an official grade?+

No. CardRevive gives you an estimate to help you plan. Only PSA, BGS, TAG, and other grading companies can assign an official, slabbed grade. Always confirm with the grading company before making a buying or selling decision.

How much does it cost?+

Every account starts with 3 free grades. After that, credit packs start at A$5.00 AUD for a single grade and work out to as little as A$3.00 AUD per card in bulk, or you can subscribe to CardRevive Pro for A$19.99 AUD per month. Credits do not expire while the account remains open.

Can restoration improve my grade?+

An image cannot establish that treatment is safe or predict a higher official grade. If your report flags presentation-led evidence, CardRevive can inspect the physical card separately; some debris or residue may be reviewable, while wear, creases and structural damage may be permanent. Restoration can also affect grading-company treatment. Explore CardRevive card restoration

Which trading card games are supported?+

CardRevive grades Pokemon, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, Dragon Ball, Digimon, and Lorcana, with more added over time. You can grade from the front alone, but uploading the back as well gives a more reliable estimate because back centering and condition also count towards the final grade.

Does the report show a reviewable presentation issue?

A scan can flag presentation-led evidence, but it cannot decide whether treatment is safe or predict a higher official grade. If your report identifies a plausible restoration signal, CardRevive can inspect the physical card separately before you pay submission fees. Some wear is permanent and treatment may affect grading-company acceptance.
